Ford Raptor is Inspired by Air Force Fighter Jet

Ford's design team recently created a one-of-a-kind F-150 Raptor that was inspired by the Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet that's built by Lockheed Martin. The truck was built specifically for auction at AirVenture Oshkosh, and raised $300,000 for the Experimental Aircraft Association Gathering of Eagles -- an organization that's devoted to aviation and encouraging the involvement of youth in flight.

Ford Celebrates Car Culture by Sponsoring Woodward Dream Cruise

Ford EcoBoost Engine Wins Award

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine was named the 2017 International Engine of the Year "Best Engine Under 1.0-liter" winner, taking the category for the sixth consecutive year, winning every year since the engine was introduced in 2012.

The judges praised the compact, three-cylinder engine for its winning combination of performance, technology and fuel efficiency. Since the engine made its debut, it has won 10 International Engine of the Year awards -- including a record three overall winners and the "Best Newcomer" title.
