No longer are there rows and rows of new in stock cars to choose from, so when you want something specific, then custom ordering from the manufacturer is now your best option. If one needs a car immediately, purchasing from the available vehicles on the lot is likely your best option.
The fun part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you can pick the exact features you need. You can choose leather seats, NAV, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your favorite color: black! When purchasing from cars in stock, you might have needed to compromise on your wishlist depending on vehicles that were available. You might be able to get all of the technology you wanted, but it was Front-Wheel Drive instead of All-Wheel Drive. Or they had the right color, but it had cloth seats, not leather.
