Sterling McCall Ford is happy to help you custom order a Ford.
Years ago, if a car buyer was considering a custom order purchase, it generally meant that it was a rare car or they were looking for something ultra-specific. Either way, buyers were willing to pay for the right to get something special, despite knowing that it would take additional time to complete the special order. The appeal of getting that rare car canceled out the extra wait time vs. purchasing a new car off the lot. Today the landscape has shifted greatly. No longer are there rows and rows of new in stock cars to choose from, so when you want something specific, then custom ordering from the manufacturer is now your best option. If one needs a car immediately, purchasing from the available vehicles on the lot is likely your best option.
The fun part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you can pick the exact features you need. You can choose leather seats, NAV, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your favorite color: black! When purchasing from cars in stock, you might have needed to compromise on your wishlist depending on vehicles that were available. You might be able to get all of the technology you wanted, but it was Front-Wheel Drive instead of All-Wheel Drive. Or they had the right color, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order, you can get what you want.
On the other hand, by custom ordering your new car from the manufacturer, you don’t have to compromise with the technology you don’t need. Maybe you needed NAV and AWD but didn’t care about the color or leather seats. In full transparency, you might not be able to order every option by itself, yet by custom ordering your brand-new vehicle, you can minimize the unwanted upgrades. We do suggest that you check out any available option packages, as they often have popular upgrades together at a discounted price.
If you’re ordering your car, you know exactly what you want. You won’t have to spend extra time test-driving different trim levels, comparing options, etc. It couldn’t be easier, just schedule some time with one of our sales professionals, and they can help you navigate the order guide and help you choose only what you need. When your new car arrives, just stop in, sign a few papers and then be on your way. Custom ordering is the new standard in the car-buying experience.
